Cracked open my homebrew! This is an orange and basil saison I’ve named Marmalade Lion.
Yeast forward. Hazy dark orange with a thick off-white head. Spicy yeast and black pepper aroma. Carbonated, citrus then herbal basil with a spicy backbone and bone dry.
If I were to brew this again I would dial up the orange to make it more marmalade like. I think it has just enough basil though – 4.5/5 even if I do say so myself! Shared some with Women’s Pint Club and it went down well ☺️
