Second batch of tasting notes for our @olddairybrewery and @cattleshedbrewco brews:

Red Top – Best Bitter 4.8%
Clear copper with a bubbly off-white head. Malty aroma – dough. Lightly carbonated, malty with a light caramel and a biscuit finish. We found this very traditional and a solid beer.
4/5 from all of us.
Snow Top – Strong Dark Ale 6%
Red chestnut and clear with a tan bubbly head. Sweet toffee and a creamy aroma. Smooth body, sweet toffee and caramel, earthy, lightly bitter. Very flavourful. This is one of my faves anyway so I was biased, but it went down well with the other ladies. Those who prefer lighter beers said it was good but they would only have a little of it.
We had a range of scores – 3.5, 3.75 and two 4.5s out of 5. My score is 5/5.

No Bull – Coffee and Cocoa Nibs Milk Stout by Cattleshed 4.5%
Brown red with a creamy bubbly head. Smoky, roasty and light coffee aroma. Thin bodied, roasty and smoky with a sweet chocolate finish.
The ladies rated this 4/5, I gave it 5/5. This recipe version is a lot more chocolaty than the last time I had it, making it even better.

Dark Side Of The Moo – Imperial Porter 7%
Dark red with a creamy, tan head. Roasty aroma, chocolate and smoky. Roasty body, some coffee and a lightly alcoholic finish.
3 to 4 out of 5 for the ladies, 5/5 for me.

Overall we really enjoyed the beers from Old Dairy – thank you so much for the chance to try these. I highly recommend them! Now to plan a Women’s Pint Club trip to the brewery!
