Sour beer tasting day at my house! I bought a bunch of Overworks beers to make up for not going to Collabfest and shared them with a friend. I’m a big sour beers fan and these were all beautiful in their own ways, we ranked them in order of preference at the end.
Disparate Elements 001 Hibiscus & Lime by @brewdogoverworks
Fruit forward. Hazy red with a foamy white head. Fruity aroma – hibiscus, lime, red wine barrel. Light, refreshing, red wine funk, lime tartness.

Disparate Elements 002 – Strong Island Blend by Brewdog Overworks
Funk forward. Chestnut brown with a low head. Zesty aroma, whisky barrel and bread crust, umami. Tart, barrel, lemon zest, tastes boozy but isn’t.

Disparate Elements 003 Lost Toys by Brewdog Overworks
Gooseberry forward. Hazy bright yellow with a low white head. Fresh, zesty gooseberry aroma. Tart, clean, lightly carbonated.

Funk forward. Hazy yellow with a low head. Barnyard funk and peach aroma. Very lightly carbonated, light, peach, chilli heat on the finish.

Tequila forward. Orange, hazy with a low white head. Tequila, grapefruit, salt aroma. Fruity. Lightly carbonated, tequila, salt, grapefruit, subtle mango, subtle chilli finish.

Floral forward. Hazy orange with a low white head. Floral, grassy chamomile aroma. Lightly carbonated, tart, like a summer field – grassy and floral.
